We specialise in the conversion of restaurant spaces, hotels and interior re-development, paying careful attention to the surrounding location and environment. Practice members contribute a range of diverse skills and work closely together as a team. Inspiration is drawn from the teams' combined passion and belief that eating out is an extension of home, and staying in hotels a part of life.

Explanation of spaces we are using:

The main working area is a versatile space that can be used as both an open plan office, and also converted to demonstrate to clients suggested design ideas for restaurant layouts etc. The space can also be used for exhibitions, and can be converted into a small dining/restaurant area.

Our initial communal response to the site was one of disappointment, although the site undoubtedly offers a lot of creative challenge. The drab exterior and uninspired interior will involve considerable work and thought to create a creative working atmosphere. The expense involved in converting the space may well outweigh the time and money spent on it. To begin with we thought that the team would mainly work on projects at the more luxury end of the catering market. However, the change in the economic climate means that we will need to rethink some of these ideas. Indeed, in surveying the economic changes between October 2008 and January 2009 we realise that they are so marked, that many of our original ideas will simply not find a client basis. Reluctantly, we have had to make one of the team Rishi Mehta redundant and Irina and Alexasandra have been on unofficial unpaid leave for some months.

It has also become apparent that the location of the building will not inspire confidence in those seeking our services if they are clients from the luxury end of the market. We are therefore developing our design ideas to include working on restaurants that will cater for those with a limited budget, who still want to enjoy a meal and evening out. It is in this area that we believe there is still money to be made and we will work on developing ideas.

This is a 3D example view of the exhibition area in the office interior. The spaces shows the flexibility of the room where we can change it into gathering places for meetings, exhibits, design and food promotions and showrooms for clients.
